During the Onin War, Yamato (The capital), were just puppets with no one controlling and the Imagawa clan saw this and they wanted to take the capital, but they had to take out a small clan named the Oda clan, which is to the east, from the capital, but the Imagawa clan were defeated and their leader Imagawa Yoshimoto was killed in action. This battle was named the Battle of Okehazama. The leader at the time, Oda Nobunaga took their idea to claim the capital and succeeded.
