Description:
The oldest astrolabe dated to around 2000 B.C.E was found in the Mesopotamia area. These types of astolabes were made out of three concentric circles cut into twelve sections. It is important to note that this invention was still in used thousands of years later until it was replaced by new technology in the middle ages.
