1) Disregarded Japanese invasion, let CCP to take credit
2) Betrayed CCP & was stubborn, lost support
3) Let corruption persist
4) V bad moral, dictatorial rule, repression = unpopular, proved Mao's point
5) Caused hyperinflation, damaged econ, increased taxes on peasants = lost both middle class & peasant support
6) Forced S & thinly spread, CCP able to control much countryside & N China
7) Sent best troops to Manchuria before controlling N & central China, lost Manchuria
