I get driven to school everyday in my mom’s Honda Odyssey Minivan. Honda is a Japanese car manufacturer but manufactures the minivan in Alliston, Ontario. This is affected by globalization through economical and cultural/societal factors. Honda manufactures the minivan in Alliston to avoid expensive shipping costs and possible import tariffs. In addition to that Honda aims to create a better product for their customers through features such as built-in vacuums for busy mothers with messy children. This is an example of consumerism.
