Hank Aaron capped off his career home runs at 755, the new record, which would stand for 31 years. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982, receiving 97.8% of the votes. He was named vice president and director of player development for the then Braves, which we now know today as the Brewers.
Aaron's record was broken and the new record stands, achieved by Barry Bonds, with 762 career home runs.
