Description:

The reason why Rome was split into 2 was that Rome was getting too big to be able to protect and cover all of the borders of Rome. The emperor at that time (Diocletian) decided that Rome was too unstable and needed to be split, so he got an officer from the military to become the co-emperor and in doing so, he split Rome in two halves.
