jan 1, 1913 - Neils Bohr

Description:

The Danish physicist was the first to discover that electrons travel in separate orbits around the nucleus. He also discovered that the properties of the element can be determined by the number of electrons in the outer orbit. He then created the Bohr Atomic Model with his findings. Bohr's theory explained why atoms produced light in specific wavelengths.
