Description:

Tod decides to go through the ways herself with Oskar, Ferdie, Lucy, and Snow Princess Driffa who helps them find the way by explaining how the pathfinding device that Tod received from her father works and provides the object needed to make it work in exchange for going with them. Lucy leaves a trail of ribbons for the others to follow after they left and Oskar is making a mental map so they can go back the way they came even without the device. When the get to the Heart of the Ways they are discovered almost right away and are trapped Snow Princess Driffa and Lucy go to talk with Oraton-Marr while Oskar, Ferdie, and Tod escape and go to find their families.
