Before the Dave's Single Burger went into my mouth, there were many steps involved for it to get there. The lettuce had to be grown, as well as the tomatoes, the onion, and the chicken had to be farmed, and killed. The condiments like mayo had to be manufactured and then exported and transported to the Wendy's chain store, as well as the ketchup, buns and relish. Tariffs and fees were placed on the various products and services during the process for me to consume it. This is an example of economic globalization since so many people and companies are involved in consuming the product.
