Android is a mobile operating system developed by Google. this was designed for mobile devices and touch screens. google knew that this was a good idea as now they have developed new android tvs and developed software for watches and tvs. Android are also used on game consoles, digital cameras, PCs and other electronics. android released there first phone in September 2008. The good thing about android is that every app and games are free to play unlike the iPhone. Also on android you can enable child protection. this allows your kids to play on the phone and not damage it by going on the wrong app. this is good because parents can leave their kids to play and not worry about them.
