Charles Babbage was an English polymath, A mathematician, inventor, philosophr, and mechanical engineer, Babbage originated the concept of a digital programmable computer. He was born on December 26, 1791 in London, United Kingdom and died on October 18, 1871 in London, United Kingdom. Charles Babbage is considered the “father of the computer” and is given credit for devising the first ever mechanical computer. His design served as the blueprint for other, more complex machines. However, he was able to construct and develop his computer, but he failed to build it. The first Charles Babbage machine that got successfully built was in 2002. His invention that he could never built was called and known as the Analytic Engine.
