Blaise Pascal was born on June 19, 1623. He was a French philosopher, mathematician, inventor, scientist, and theologian. He was good at all the job titles he held, and he knew what he was doing. In the 1640's, Pascal invented his very own calculator named after him called the "Pascaline", and this device helped people make calculations, and assisted people when they did math. The Pascaline was considered one of the world's first machines/devices, and it helped many people at the time. Blaise Pascal died on August 19, 1662.
