World War 1 started on July 14th 1914 because of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The Whole world split up into two groups that fought against each other. Austria-Hungary, Germany, Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria were called the Central Power and Great Britain, Romania, Japan, Russia, Italy, France, and later the US were called the Allied Powers.Added to timeline:
