Description:
A division of IBM called Automatic Sequence Controlled Calculator (ASCC), and Harvard's staff, created the Mark 1 on the 29th of March, 1944. Its was an electromechanical computer, and it's purpose was used in the war effort during the last part of World War II. The first program that was run by Mark 1 was on the 29th of march, 1944, by a man named John von Neumann.
