The very popular sandal also known as Birkenstocks, is made from the global company Birkenstock. They originate and manufactured from Germany and were then imported into Canada, which I then bought from a local store. Some tariffs are placed on imported Birkenstocks. This affects some globalization factors like economic factors. If the prices on tariffs are higher it causes the price of the product to increase, affecting the sandal economy, which may turn customers away if too expensive.
