Description:
The Battle of Adwa took place when the dirty Italians crossed a deal with the Ethiopians. Menelik II thought he would give the Italians a small part of Ethiopia. The Italians really just wanted to claim Ethiopia as a protectorate and Ethiopia wasn't having it. After hearing this, Menelik II got his hands on massive amounts of modern weapons via trade with Russia. He then declared war on Italy and decimated them giving Ethiopia freedom once again.
