Description:

France was having bad harvest which cause the price of flour to increase dramatically. Bread was the staple food for most citizens so it made it really hard when the prices went up. A group of women began to assemble at Parisian markets, but was unsatisfied so they marched from Paris to the Palace of Versailles.
