Description:
Haschwalth explains Yhwach's soul-sharing ability to Uryū and reveals all of their souls are tied to Yhwach.
Rukia encounters Äs, who reveals he intends to kill her in order to draw out Byakuya, and is revealed to be immune to The Fear, having temporarily "killed" her body with the true power of Sode no Shirayuki.
Rukia manages to freeze Äs solid by lowering the temperature to absolute zero, but he recovers and activate his Quincy: Vollständig, Tatarforas, which finally causes Rukia to experience fear.
Byakuya arrives and shatters The Fear, demonstrates the improved power of his Shikai, and acknowledges Rukia's strength for the first time.
Gaining new resolve from Byakuya's acknowledgement, Rukia activates her Bankai, Hakka no Togame, which freezes Äs solid and shatters him.
Guenael Lee confronts Yachiru and Isane, who is healing Rose and Kensei.
Guenael begins fighting Yachiru, who manages to repeatedly attack him on instinct despite his ability to hide his presence before releasing her Shikai and attacking him with it.
Gremmy Thoumeaux arrives and kills Guenael for failing to defeat Yachiru, whose bones he turns into cookies with The Visionary when she attacks him.
Kenpachi arrives, prompting Gremmy to create a stage for them to fight on; despite Gremmy's claims of being invincible due to his power of imagination, Kenpachi effortlessly cuts through his body.
While battling Gremmy, who heals himself, Kenpachi realizes the effects of The Visionary on a person will no longer work if Gremmy's attention is shifted away from that individual and has Yachiru leave the stage before continuing to attack Gremmy, who realizes he truly wishes to kill Kenpachi and begins fighting more seriously.
After nearly killing himself with The Visionary, Gremmy clones himself and summons a meteorite to obliterate Soul Society, prompting Kenpachi to release his real Shikai, Nozarashi, and destroy the meteorite with a single attack.
Gremmy traps Kenpachi in a void of space, severely damaging his body, before having all of his clones self-destruct in a massive explosion, but when Kenpachi survives this assault as well, Gremmy attempts to become stronger than him, only to have his body be unable to handle this newfound power and tear itself apart.
Gremmy's body fades away as his real body, a brain in a tank, falls on the ground. Shortly afterward, Kenpachi realizes Yachiru is missing.
Candice Catnipp, Giselle Gewelle, Liltotto Lamperd, and Meninas McAllon massacre the 11th Division members nearby and incapacitate Kenpachi.
Kenpachi is saved by the arrival of Ichigo, who begins to fight the four Sternritter.
When Candice decides to take him on personally, Ichigo effortlessly holds her at bay and destroys her arm with a new technique, Getsuga Jūjishō.
Yhwach begins moving forward with the next phase of his plan.
After Candice has Giselle regenerate her arm, Bazz-B arrives with his Quincy: Vollständig active and shoots down the four Sternritter with Burner Finger 1 with the intent of taking on Ichigo by himself, only for three more Sternritter to join him with the same goal in mind as the female Sternritter recover.
As a beam of light pierces the sky, Yhwach reveals he intends to invade the Soul King Palace while the 72 barriers between it and Soul Society are still open from Ichigo crashing through them; when the Sternritter prevent Ichigo from leaving to stop Yhwach, Renji and several other Shinigami arrive to take them on in his stead.
The Sternritter activate their Quincy: Vollständig and attack the Shinigami.
As Ichigo learns of Uryū's betrayal and Orihime and Sado arrive in Soul Society via Garganta,|Yhwach, Haschwalth, and Uryū depart for the Soul King Palace.
Renji attacks Bazz-B and insults his mohawk, prompting an enraged Bazz-B to use Burner Finger 4 and attack him in response.
Yhwach, Haschwalth, and Uryū arrive at the Soul King Palace; Haschwalth summons several Soldat to invade the palace, but Kirinji appears and repels them before releasing his Zanpakutō, Kinpika, and attacking Yhwach.
Ikkaku and Yumichika confront Giselle, whom Yumichika accuses of being a man; angered by Yumichika's accusation, Giselle summons Bambietta's corpse.
Urahara prepares to send Ichigo, Orihime, and Sado to the Soul King Palace as Yoruichi arrives with several bottles containing the large amounts of energy gained from closing the rifts in the Human World.
Ikkaku and Yumichika fight Bambietta's corpse, with Yumichika deducing the true nature of The Explode and helping Ikkaku attack her; however, Giselle has Bambietta incapacitate Ikkaku and Yumichika and prepares to turn them into zombies, but is interrupted by the arrival of Mayuri.
When Giselle has Bambietta begin attacking Mayuri, he reveals he has devised a way to nullify The Explode; this prompts Giselle to summon several Shinigami zombies to fight him, but Mayuri summons four resurrected Arrancar to fight them in response.
As the Arrancar begin slaughtering the Shinigami zombies, Giselle reattaches Bambietta's arm, only to be confronted by Charlotte, who claims Giselle resembles him before effortlessly defeating Bambietta; this prompts Giselle to bring out her trump card - a zombified Hitsugaya.
Hitsugaya quickly and grievously cuts down Ikkaku, Yumichika, and Charlotte as Mayuri deduces he was turned into a zombie before death, which prompts him to take on Hitsugaya himself in order to test out new drugs on him.
Hitsugaya seemingly kills Mayuri twice, but each time the latter comes back unscathed; it is eventually revealed that Charlotte's blood put a Postcognition Drug into Hitsugaya's system, rendering him unable to actually kill Mayuri and quickly rendering him immobile by putting strain on his hippocampus.
After completely paralyzing Hitsugaya with Ashisogi Jizō, Mayuri injects him with a substance that causes him great pain, summoning the zombified Kensei, Rose, and Rangiku to the scene; this prompts Mayuri to have his remaining Arrancar take them on.
Eventually, Kensei and Rose collapse after being exposed to the Precognition Drug as well, and Mayuri takes control of them using a Blood Reorganization Drug, causing them to turn on Giselle and stab her through the heart.
Elsewhere, Byakuya defeats Candice, NaNaNa, and Robert, only to be confronted by Hisagi, who has been controlled by PePe Waccabrada's The Love; PePe also takes control of Meninas, who attacks Liltotto.
After incapacitating Hisagi, Byakuya faces off against PePe, who takes control of his Zanpakutō with The Love and has Hisagi wield it against Byakuya; when Byakuya proves resistant to the effects of The Love, PePe activates his Quincy: Vollständig and prepares to kill him, but is interrupted by the arrival of Kensei and Rose.
Kensei incapacitates Hisagi and Mayuri explains how he took control of the two captains to Byakuya; PePe tries to use The Love on Kensei, but Mayuri reveals his zombies do not comprehend love as Kensei pummels PePe.
While swearing vengeance, PePe is confronted by Liltotto, who devours him as revenge for nearly killing her.
Kirinji finds himself unable to directly attack Yhwach, who is confronted by Senjumaru and her Divine Soldiers; when they also prove unable to harm Yhwach, Nianzol Weizol reveals himself as the source of this phenomenon.
Before Ichigo, Orihime, Sado, and Yoruichi depart for the Soul King Palace, Ganju arrives with an aerial map that he claims is the only way they can reach the palace, and departs with them shortly afterward.
Learning of Nianzol's ability to deflect all attacks that he can see, Senjumaru distracts him with a surprise attack from several Divine Soldiers while she resews his outfit, which quickly impales him with dozens of spikes.
As Nianzol dies, Senjumaru turns to Yhwach, who brings out Soldat to combat the Divine Soldiers and his own elite guard, the Schutzstaffel, to fight the Royal Guard.
After Gerard Valkyrie overwhelms Senjumaru and Pernida Parnkgjas destroys a larger Divine Soldier, Lille Barro seemingly kills her and destroys the surrounding cities.
However, this is revealed to be a ruse on Senjumaru's part, with the real palace hidden by Ichibē, as the Quincy are trapped in a Cage of Life by Hikifune and confronted by Nimaiya.
Nimaiya makes short work of the Schutzstaffel with Sayafushi, a sword with immense cutting power, but is caught off-guard when Askin Nakk Le Vaar not only survives his assault, but begins to incapacitate him with The Deathdealing.
Upon learning that Askin has made his own blood fatal to him, Nimaiya cuts his throat to let some of it out and then has Kirinji replace his blood with water from his Blood Pond Hell, allowing him to recover and defeat Askin.
While Nimaiya plans out his battle strategy, Yhwach's hands shine with a bright light that engulfs the Cage of Life.
Giselle revives and heals herself by consuming Bambietta Basterbine's blood before beating Bambietta to death for attempting to stop her.
As Liltotto finds Giselle, Robert appears and hysterically explaina how all of the Sternritter in the Seireitei will die from Yhwach's Auswählen before being killed as a beam of light engulfs him, Bazz-B, and NaNaNa.
Yhwach uses the stolen power of the Sternritter below to revive his Schutzstaffel before telling them to go forth.
Bazz-B and Liltotto survive the Auswählen and proclaim that they will not die here as Shunsui realizes the Soul King Palace is in danger.
While Haschwalth explains how the Auswählen redistributes power, Lille grievously wounds Nimaiya with the true form of The X-Axis.
Pernida uses The Compulsory to destroy part of the Cage of Life, allowing Yhwach to confront Ichibē.
Shunsui moves through the ruins of the Wandenreich City and meets with Ukitake, who has begun the Kamikake, before leaving to meet with Central 46.
Ichibē begins his fight with Yhwach by forcing him out of the Soul King Palace with Senri Tsūtenshō, prompting Yhwach to shoot himself with a Heilig Pfeil in order to return to the battlefield.
Hiyori, Love, Lisa, and Hachigen arrive in Soul Society and meet up with Urahara, who has Yūshirō Shihōin bring several items to him.
