Description:
Ewald Georg von Kleist and Pieter van Musschenbroek invented Leyden jars around 1745. Those jars played a MASSIVE role in promoting electrical experiments, since it was the first object that could save a high voltage electrical charge. Leyden jars were used to conduct many early experiments of electricity, and played a fundamental role in study of electrostatics.
