jan 1, 1720 - Stephen Gray makes distinction between conductors and insulators
Description:
An English Scientist called Stephen Gray, uncovered the difference between conductors and insulators through different experiment and extensive research. His discovery was not noticed by many people, while he was poor, and couldn't get any acceptance for it from the Royal Society. However, it plays a huge role in electrical engineering, since: insulators help us to insulate a charge, so we don't lose it; conductors help us to conduct the charge at a better rate.
