Description:

This constitution limits constitutional monarchy, there is a king of France that has few powers. Sovereign powers went to the National Assembly consisting of 745 representatives which were chosen by an election. In this election only "men over the age of twenty-five paying taxes equivalent in value to three day's un-skilled labor" (586).
