- Day 588
- Rick grateful thanks Jesus for giving them several boxes of food and supplies. Jesus jokes about Rick trusting them now and Rick comments on how once you've earned his trust, it is always appreciated and recognised. Rick can expect Jesus and Kal to be by his side when the time comes to face Negan.
- Andrea and Michonne are surprised that Rick volunteered them to fight this Negan guy. Jesus and Kal leave and the others ask Rick if he's serious about that. Michonne is surprised they made it out of there alive as she finds the place terrifying that they're lead by a cult leader and give supplies to murderers. Andrea thinks they're pathetic as they were too scared to help their own leader.
- Rick goes on about how people have been looking to him for leadership since the start. He thought it was because he was a police officer, though he was never any good at it. He thinks it's partially because he has a family he's willing to protect. But he realises that it's because of the way he sees things. Glenn saw something to love, Andrea something to ridicule, and Michonne something to fear. He saw the future, people aren't surviving in there, they're living. Two hundred people is an army they can use to really do something about the apocalypse. They can finally rebuild civilisation again. They can finally stop surviving, and start living!
