Description:
Even after the Petition of Rights was signed, Charles I kept ignoring Parliament, angering them further. In 1641, Charles finally called on what was known as the Long Parliament, accepting a petition called the Triennial Act to get what he wanted. The Triennial Act demanded that Parliament be assembled every 3 years and could disassemble itself. Charles I accepted.
