jan 1, 1611 - Cardinal Richelieu makes two laws

Description:

Although there is no date for when Cardinal Richelieu made the two laws against Huguenots we do know it was when the Edict of Nantes was in place. The two laws he made were Huguenot nobles were not allowed two have armies, and they were not allowed to have weapons. Since the Edict had been in place the nobles agreed to the two laws because there was no reason to have weapons or armies because there was peace. When Cardinal Richelieu made these two laws it made France more centralized because there was less power in less peoples hands.
