Description:
The finding of the Cape of Good Hope/Cape of storms was extremely important to the age of exploration. The finding opened up a sea route to India and the east. A fact about this is at first it was the Cape of Storms but it was later renamed to the Cape of Good Hope by King John II to encourage explorers to use the route and sail East.
