On the 10th anniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz Project, Space Shuttle Atlantis and Buran Orbiter 'Ptichka' docked in Low Earth Orbit. The crews spent a week with eachother before returning to Earth. The mission was a precursor to the Shuttle-Mir and Buran-Freedom Star missions.Added to timeline:
