Description:
Versailles was the former hunting lodge Louis XIII. It was expanded by Louis XIV, and became a massive palace to flaunt France's wealth. He influenced nobles to live there, and live a very expensive lifestyle. It was the main palace of Louis XIV and XV until the French Revolution in 1789. Versailles could host 20,000 people at a time. It was opened in 1634.
