Description:

Six days after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, members of the New Orleans Police Department killed two civilians and wounded four others. All of the victims were African-American, and none were armed or had committed crimes. The officers involved tried to cover up their crimes by implicating their victims in crime.

All five officers received charges of varying severity.
