Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties contain a significant Adventist population. Census data reveals there were 58 Adventist churches in San Bernardino County with a total of 32,831 adherents. Adventists made up 1.6 percent of the total population of the county or four times the national percentage. From the 2000 census to the 2010 census the number of congregations grew from 45 to 58 and the number of adherents grew by 26 percent from 26,152.
