At about half past one in the morning, two men are brought in by ambulance with second-degree burns covering a majority of their bodies. One of the victims is confirmed to be Gerard Keay, and the other is heavily implied to be Diego Molina of the Cult of the Lightless Flame. Diego is completely covered in burns; Gerard has burns all over his body except on the tattoos of eyes all over his body and beyond his neck. at 03:11:22, everyone in the A&E waiting room gets up and files out of the building, not returning until 03:27:12. On the CCTV footage at 03:22:52, the feed cuts out and is replaced by a frame of a close-up of a human eye, staring directly into the camera. During this time, Diego Molina begins chanting the words, "Asag, wypalac, the lightless flame." Gerard Keay got up and retrieved a scalpel which he used to kill Diego. After stabbing him in the chest, Diego burns completely to ash. According to Saraki, she still feels the sensation of being watched (MAG 12).
