oct 12, 1835 - The Battle at San Antonio de Béxar

Description:

An army of Texan volunteers laid siege to a Mexican army in San Antonio de Béxar. The texans army men grew about 300 m ore men and elected Stephan F Austin to help win the battle. the Texas volunteers went home after the battle but Texas troops remained in town. with Cos’s surrendering left San Antonio and all of Texas under the Texans’ control.
