Description:
The day after proclamation of Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Transjordan and Egypt invade the country. Israel wins thanks to military expertise, divisions within Arab armies, aid from Europe and a weakened Palestine. Referred to by Arabs as 'Nakba' (=Catastrophe, which translates to Shoah in Hebrew and echoes the Holocaust).
