mar 24, 2019 - AG Barr releases summary of key findings of Mueller Report. Barr stated that there is insufficient evidence that Trump obstructed justice or colluded with Russia, but did not exonerate him on obstruction

Description:

Mueller sends Barr a letter asserting that his summary "did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this Office's work and conclusions" leading to "public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation". (27/3/19)

Barr tells the Senate Appropriations Committee that Mueller did not ask him or Congress to determine whether Trump obstructed justice. He tells the committee, "I don't know whether Bob Mueller supported my conclusion." He again states that he expected to release the Mueller Report within a week. (10/4/19)

The New York Times reports that there have been numerous conversations between
White House lawyers and the Justice Department about the contents of Muller's report.
