Description:
Fannin and his men were massacred by Mexican troops as a result of the Battle of Coleto Creek Over 300 Texan soldiers were killed. General Urea later wrote a letter about how he regretted killing Fannin and his men, and how he didn't want to go through with Santa Anna's orders. 20 people were saved from being killed by the "Angel of Goliad": Francita Alavez.
