James Fannin, Santa Anna, José de Urrea, Sam Houston -James Fannin and his men were in a prairie resting when the Mexicans soldiers attacked them. To stay safer they made themselves into a square formation. James Fannin surrendered hoping to keep him and his men safe. He later made 3 requests to the army, they were to give his watch to his family, to shoot him in the heart, and to give his belonging to his family. Instead, they tied him to a chair, took his belongings, shot him in the face, and threw him on a pile of bodies.
