Description:

Nov. 26th, 1835 While the Texans were laying siege on Bexar Deaf Smith their scout told them that he saw on Mexican pack train on its way to Bexar and they thought that it was holding silver so they attacked the pack train and found out after getting back to camp that it was not silver but, it was hay that they fought for. As a result, the Texans looked foolish and 100 Mexican soldiers were killed and 3 Texans were killed.
