Sam Houston had trained and gathered troops and ammunition and was ready to fight. While the Mexicans ate a big feast and were resting the Texans attacked. '' Remember the Alamo !" and " Remember Goliad" were shouted as the Texans brutaly wiped out the Mexicans in 18 minutes flat. They cought Santa Anna in a regular military wear during the mexican retreat.Added to timeline:
