oct 2, 1835 - Battle of Gonzales

Description:

On October 2nd, 1835 Colonel Domingo de Ugartehcea insisted that he wanted the cannon from Gonzales to not let the revolutionaries from having something to use coming to a attack. So he sent 300 troops to take back that cannon but with the help of neighboring regions seeing the Mexicans the People of Gonzales were able to hide the cannon just before the Mexicans were to enter the city a tiny skirmish broke between some 150 Texans and Colonel Ugartecheas troops that lead to a Texan Victory and 1 Mexican casualty (others wounded) while no Texans were injured
