Description:
The Treaty of Velasco was an agreement between Mexico and Texas that guaranteed Texas their independence. There were two treaties. The treaties said that Texas would be an independent country, the Rio Grande would be the border between Texas and Mexico and all Mexican troops would have to go back to Mexico.
