Description:
British officers who fought in the French and Indian War found it hard to live in colonial and to pay for quartering and feeding of their troops. The Quartering Act stated that Great Britain would house its soldiers in American barracks. “All other colonies, with the exception of Pennsylvania, refused to comply with the Quartering Act; this act expired on March 24, 1767. ”
~ Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum .So obviously it was unliked by colonist and caused plenty of upset among colonists.
