Neil Bohr discovered many things about the electron. With his Quantum Model he was able to determine that electrons did not lost any of their energy while in rotation. He also discovered that elements can be determined by the amount of electrons that orbit the atom. He later determined that the electrons in the electron cloud could pass from one orbit to another going down that causes an emition of photon energy.Added to timeline:
