jan 1, 1200 BC - The Exodus

Description:

Moses was an Israelite that was adopted in the Pharaoh family. One day, God told him to rescue his people that were Egyptian slaves. So Moses asked the pharaoh to let them go. But the pharaoh refused. At that point God helped Moses and punished the Egyptians several times. The punishments were sicknesses and insect invasions. But neither of them changed the pharaoh’s mind. But the last punishment was the worse and the most effective one. God decided to send the evil spirit that night and kill all the first born sons. But Moses knew this s he told all the Israelites to put lamb blood on their door so that the evil spirit sees the sign on the door and not kill the first born son. So the next day the pharaoh told Moses he could lead his people out of Egypt. This is what happened. Moses and the rest of the Israelites left Egypt and settled in the Sinai Dessert. This journey is called the Exodus.
