Description:

The American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania filed a civil rights lawsuit on behalf of students who claimed that the McKeesport school district denied them permission to create a Black Student Union. McKeesport Area School District and ACLU officials agreed to a settlement that would allow for the creation of a black student union at McKeesport Area High School.
