Wrote "The Arte of Rhetorique" which was the first widely known English work on the study of rhetoric. Includes the five parts of rhetoric as well as the three kinds of discourse (judicial, deliberative, demonstrative) and the seven parts of a speech (enterance, narration, proposition, division, confirmation, confutation, conclusion). This was the first place where all the ideas of rhetoric were put together in English.
