The seven years war was a conflict between France and Britain over the political and social future of the new world. It was more of a struggle for power to see which nation could be considered the most powerful in europe, or who had the most influence. The ultimate conclusion of the war was a victory for Britain and would lead directly into the american revolution and the french revolution. While it was a political shift, these types of wars were common in europe, and it did nothing to change europe directly in any major way.
