Frederick II of Prussia is considered one of the Enlightened rulers and is credited with improving his country both politically and intellectually. He is known for expanding prussias empire in the war of austrian succession and the seven years war as well as continuing his father's goals of boosting the prussian economy and enlightened state. With the large army and stable economy he inherited he began to change many of the legal standards moraly and practically, completely remaking the legal system and was known for continuing the abolishment of serfdom. He represented the changing times brought upon by the enlightenment and was intrinsic in forming the respectable and powerful prussian empire.
