Description:
The first ever Olympics takes place in the summer of 775 BCE. They were created to honor Zeus King of the gods. The games included running, boxing, wrestling, javelin, discus, long jump and others. They took place every 4 years until 393 AD. Originally the games were only a day long and only running was what they did, Then throughout the years they added in more events.
