Career Tech ILED Workshop – This one-day training session was provided to the Oklahoma Instructional Materials (OKIM) division of the Oklahoma CareerTech System as a part of their Summer Conference*. It was held at the Francis Tuttle Business Innovation Center in Edmond. We had somewhere around 25 people and a traditional ILED/LEM presentation. Bucky, Michael, Milissa, and John facilitated. *The first day was an all-division conference-style meeting at the Cox Convention Center; the second day departments break out individually for professional development. Side Note: During the presentation we were contacted by Fred Green, the Director of Launch Pad FT, a business incubator located at Francis Tuttle’s Business Innovation Center. Fred hooked us up with a duo of entrepreneurs interested in creating virtual reality-based trades training. They came by and talked with Robert and John, but their business model is impractical and they weren’t interested in working together.
