Description:

The American general leading the war, MacArthur wanted to go further than Truman. He was prepared to invade China and even use nuclear weapons. Truman thought that saving the South was enough and risking war with the USSR was too big of a danger to carry out.
Against instruction in March, MacArthur launched an attack on China. Truman subsequently removed him from his position.
