Two nights before giving his statement, "Antonio Blake" has a dream pertaining to the death of Gertrude Robinson. In his dream, all of the veins which cover the city lead back into the Archives, where whatever sticky, tar-ish liquid they carry is dumped. He saw the body of Gertrude Robinson sat at her desk, so tightly wrapped in veins that only her face could be seen, wearing an expression "more fearful than any [he'd] ever seen," (MAG 11).
